Terms of Service
ArcVault — arcvault.ir Last updated: July 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ArcVault website or purchasing a license. By creating an account, purchasing a license, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms govern your use of the ArcVault website and account services. Your use of the ArcVault desktop software itself is separately governed by the [End User License Agreement (EULA)](/license), which you must also accept.
1. Account Registration
To purchase a license, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
2. Licenses and Billing
- —ArcVault licenses are sold on a subscription basis (monthly or annual billing), per the pricing displayed on our Pricing page at the time of purchase.
- —Prices are subject to change at any time. Changes do not affect an already-active billing period; they apply to future purchases and renewals.
- —Annual billing offers a discount equivalent to 2 months free compared to monthly billing (i.e., you pay for 10 months and receive 12 months of access), unless otherwise stated on the Pricing page at checkout.
- —Renewal is not automatic. We do not store your payment card details and do not charge you automatically. You must manually initiate and complete a renewal payment through your dashboard before your license expires to maintain uninterrupted access. We may, at our discretion, send a reminder email before expiration, but you are responsible for renewing on time.
- —Adding devices mid-cycle is billed on a prorated basis based on the time remaining in your current billing period, as shown at the time of purchase.
3. Payment
- —All payments are processed through ZarinPal, a licensed Iranian payment gateway. We do not collect or store your card information.
- —Prices are displayed in Iranian Toman (or Rial, as applicable) and include any taxes required by applicable law.
4. Refund Policy
- —If you have not activated your license on any device, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting support.
- —Once a license has been activated on at least one device, purchases are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- —Refund requests for renewals or device upgrades follow the same policy: non-refundable once any part of the added time or device slots has been used.
*(This is our default policy; if you believe your situation warrants an exception, contact support and we will review it in good faith.)*
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - Share your license key or account credentials with individuals outside your organization in a way that circumvents the device limits of your plan - Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with license validation or device activation limits - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account and license without refund.
6. Service Availability
We aim to keep the license server and website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party infrastructure issues (including our hosting provider or payment gateway), or events beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary unavailability.
The ArcVault desktop application is a local-first tool: your project files remain on your own infrastructure and are not dependent on our servers, except for periodic license validation.
7. Data and File Liability
As stated in the End User License Agreement, ArcVault is a file management tool. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your project data. We are not liable for any loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of your files. Please refer to the License Agreement for full details.
8. Termination
- —You may stop using the Service and let your license expire at any time.
- —We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or fraudulent activity.
- —Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, subject to Section 9 (Section 5 of the EULA on data/liability) surviving termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ArcVault's total liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. See the End User License Agreement for additional disclaimers specific to software use and data loss.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Iran.
