This Privacy Policy explains what information ArcVault ("Company", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, desktop application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), and how that information is used, stored, and protected.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide, secure, and support the Service:
Account information - Email address - Password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never store or have access to your plain-text password)
License and device information - Your license key - Device hardware identifiers (a one-way hashed combination of MAC address and CPU identifier), used solely to enforce your licensed device limit - Number of active devices and activation timestamps
Payment information - We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed entirely by ZarinPal, a licensed Iranian payment gateway. We receive only a payment confirmation, transaction reference, and the amount paid. - We store your email address and purchase history (device count, billing period, amounts, dates) to manage your license and provide support.
Support communications - If you contact support through the dashboard, we receive your account email, license key (if any), and the message you submit, in order to respond to you.
Technical and usage data - IP address, used only for rate-limiting and abuse prevention (not for tracking or profiling) - Basic server logs (timestamps, request paths) retained for a limited period for security and debugging purposes
We do not collect the contents of your project files, drawings, or any data stored locally by the ArcVault desktop application. ArcVault is a local-first application — your project files remain on your own infrastructure and are never uploaded to our servers.
